It was a terrible morning in South Alabama. I haven't talked to anybody yet, who got a bird. I didn't even hear a single gobble. I stayed in the woods until 10:00, but had to get to work. I'll be out tomorrow again on a different property. I did put the stalk on three does that were in a greenfield. That's the way it goes, see deer on a turkey hunt and see turkeys during a deer hunt. Maybe tomorrow will redeem me.

Well guys,
There's still no cigar. For the second day in a row I have had no gobbles in the woods. It's been quiet and foggy. Tonight it is suppossed to cool down into the high thirties. I'll try again in the morning on another property. Team 1 has score, so it's our turn next....I hope!

Don't get too hung up on score yet! I can't even get out there till April 25, and my season doesn't close till May 31. I'll give us a boost at the end :)

Yea, most of our seasons don't start until well into April. You southerners get a head start on everyone.
