Congrats on the birds guys. I am heading out today at 9:30 am for one final hunt. Had to work a half day, wish it would have been the second half lol. The birds were gobling alot over the weekend, we saw several but just couldn't call them in closer than 50yards.

Hey guys im sorry i just realized im on this team ..my season in new hampshire opens may 3rd so its coming up im hoping to smack down on another monster this year i have been lucky the last 3 years to have harvested beautiful toms on opening day nothing under 20 lbs last years was 22lbs with 11 1/4 inch beard and 1 3/8 spurs so may 3rd i will hopefully put some more points up on the board

Good luck Germ. Another uneventful morning today. We had birds gobbling on the roost all around us and we set up on the closest one right around sunrise. He was still gobbling until he hit the groud and then all was quiet. I tell you, if you don't get right on top of them right now, you barely stand a chance because they don't make a peep the rest of the day.

My buddy was hunting yesterday, same thing happened. They finally had a bird working at 12:30 but ran out of time because our days close at 1 pm.

I guess they are still pretty henned up.

This weekend I'm hunting with a buddy on some private ground, hopefully bring some new luck. This public land is tough sometimes when you are calling to some of the same birds as others.

Welcome to the team Nhturkey, its all for fun but it sounds like you can really help the team.

I'll set up my pop-up blinds this weekend and freshen up the natural ones, next weekend season is open and I have friday and monday off:D

I'll be out in the woods tomorrow morning. And, as strange as it sounds, my wife is 39 weeks pregnant and she told me last night that my buddy and I should go hunting this weekend. I think my wife has officially lost her mind ... and I love her that much more for it. :D
