Good looking bird Jack!! Congrats again. I came up empty this morning (4-9-07) when two of us inadvertantly ended upsetting up onthe same field. My buddy (the landowner) was at the bottom of the pastureacross whereI got my second bird and I was at the top of the pasture. He ended up shooting a nice double bearded 21 lb bird at 6:20 a.m. I almost jumped out of my skin when he shot. He was about 350 yards away and did not know I was there until he walked out.

That must have been some kind of scary hunt. Thanks for the input and your friendship. Let's get together for a hunt in the next 2 weeks....ok?

Ooops! Sorry Arjuna. Yes let do try and get a hunt in together!! I'm probably done for this week but may do an overnighter over that way next week. Gas prices are killing me!!!!!!!! Let's watch the weather and be in touch.

Thanks Dixon and the rest of team 2. I hope you have a great season. When do the rest of you guys get to start? I only have three weeks left. I've got allergy trouble today, that's why I'm not in the woods this morning. Maybe this weekend I'll be ready to give the woods another go around.

Ahhh, a postive attitude, that's what I like to hear! Good luck MO_bow! Real nice bird and pic. Arjuna! I've got about a month before going back to KS. for my second trip. I'll break out the shotgun if I have to. But I will get a better bird next trip!;)

I'm checking in again....anyone's season start yet....we got 2.5 weeks till.....think i got a nice onetied down!!!:)
