Arjuna, do what you gotta do, family is much more important than this little game we are playing here... but, does your dad hunt? Sounds crazy but some say that laughter, fun, and living life are the best medicine, if he's not stuck in a bed try to get him out.

Sorry if that was a crazy suggestion (really sorry if it offended), but I know that my farming grandmother fought off everything the world could throw at her long past her time as long as she could walk the field to her sisters and back every day, it was being in the old folks home that ended her battle.

Arjuna.. prayers are sent from here too, my dad was diagnosed with cancer two year ago this April, and after 9 months of treatments and prayers, he has been free of cancer for over a year now. I noticed last spring after his round with it, even though he was still weak, and tired, he really wanted to go out and try for a turkey, he only made it one day, but we did hear lots of gobbling and had birds close, so he enjoyed the hunt, I think more than usual. Have faith, they found it early, and its amazing the things they can do now. Keep yours and his spirits up, and youll be back in the woods in no time.

My prayers also got out to Anjuna and his family. Cancer is a trouble thing, its something we wish would just vanish from the face of the earth.

I will absolutely keep you and your family in my prayers.

He doesn't hunt, but enjoys hearing about my adventures. His hobby is model rockets. He flies the big stuff. He does demonstrations and teaches classes about it all the time. I think he is going to go to a shoot this weekend, before his surgery.

My mom committed suicide back when I was 15, so he's all I've got. He's a great Christian, man, and father. I owe him more than I could ever repay.

By the way, I did go hunting this morning and called in three hens. They got within 10 yards of me, but the tom didn't come in. I don't know what my problem is.A buddy (Sour01) called me this morning to tell me he killed his second bird of the year.I guess I just suck. (just kidding...or maybe not!) I'm still having a fun time.
