Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

See turkeys everyday , we have some roost treesabout a 100 yards fromthe house . Last timeI counted there were 27 longbeards in this bunch . Some times there are more birds and sometimes less , they have beenusing these trees for close to twenty years thatI know of .

I get excited when I see just one longbeard on my property nowdays. There is so much clearcutting going on all around my area the turkeys are slowly disappearing. I used to see 30 to 40 a daywhen deer hunting. Now I am lucky to see four or five a season. I do usually keep four or five hens on my place yearly, so each turkey season I'll usually have one or two longbeards cruise through. I took two last year on my place. I'm really excited about this season though. I went to my place yesterday and saw two nice longbeards. I have been seeing the same four hens just about everytime, so I know the two longbeards will be somewhere nearby this season. Looks like it's going to be a good season. I also hunt Tennessee and I know there are plenty longbeards where I am hunting.

I see turkeys all year during the deer season and while coyote hunting in Feb/March.
