Help! Need to find a Hunt Fast!!!
#1
Well, I just called to find out if I drew a WI tag for early season and determined that I was not selected! This leaves me with a big hole from about Apirl 5th-20th without anywhere to chase a bird.
Am looking to perhaps get into a DIY deal or any reasonable opportunityin TX, GA, AL, SC and would appreciate any help thatanyone out there might provide.
Please respond to this post or send me a personal PM

I would do some calling and check into if any states are doing an over the counter sale. If so, jump all over it.
If all else fails, find a buddy to do some calling or videoing for.

Oklahoma has over the counter tags. Western Ok has good Rio hunting. Public lands include Black Kettle, PackSaddle, Altus-Lugert. There are outfitters out of Sayre, Woodward, Alva, Taloga, as well as others. Season runs April 6 through May 6.

Check www.wildlifedepartment.com for OK regs and maps. There are also Easterns in far Eastern OK, but mostly rios.

The season here in Missouri opens April 16. That would fill 5 of the days you have available. Tags are over the counter and $175 for non resident. Lots of great public land.
