public ground osceolas??

heres my question...is it reasonable to try and head down to FLA this spring break and hit up public land for osceolas, or would i be wasting my time? if so, what spots do yall know of that are decent?
is this reasonable or shouldi just book with an outfitter?

I dont know of any public ground thats good. But if you decideyou wantan outfitter look up S & N Outfitters. They run a small add in Turkey Call. Its as good as hunting gets!!!!!!!!!

I've hunted Three lakes and there is birds in that management. You also have lots of hunters as well so you may want to be real early to get in. I believe the gate opens for the first 200 hunters.
There are a number of Outfitters out there, so price around, you may find something in the right bracket for you. If your going to pay money make sure your hunting Osceola's and not highbreads, pay for the real thing...
