A buddy and I want to go turkey hunting this weekend and neither of us have ever hunted turkey before. We don't have time to go scouting due to work. Anybody have any ideas? What kind of areas would we fnd a turkey? I've read to walk around the woods until you break up a flock of turkeys, then you sit there and cal them back in. Would this work? Any info is appreciated! Thanks! Matt

in the fall, that is what most hunter do,unless they know where thr flocks are feeding.
you find the flock and break them, get into the center of the area they left from, set up,start calling after a few min.
or you can just start scouting and call as you go,when you get an answer, then set up.
good luck,learn as you go.
I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest
remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.
