Man Dennis! You've got birds everywhere!!!!

Getting any work done?[8D]

Jeff, I am lucky and dont have to work much during the spring but when I do its just as much fun as being in the woods.

Is your season over yet? How did you do?

For those of you as are curious at to what kind of job I have, here's another pic. There's about nine toms, give or take, in this picture.

I bet it takes a lot of skill to kill those birds!!!

Hell if I had turkeys like that to hunt I could kill 14turkeys in one spring also...

Those are the kind of turkeys that make legends on these forums

I'd make it all about the bow...silent and a pop up ground blind would fit the bill as well....good luck.
My thought too , a bow only or bow/crossbow(where legal) hunt would be safe enough to sway all but the bunny-huggingest ARF.

Heck, if they are just going to stand there like that then you should try a spear or something.

If you want to make it a real challenge then you should get all camo'd up and sit real still in a place where they feed and try and grab one with your bare hands.

I've been done since late April with a bird each for my son and myself. I didn'y have any other trips planned this spring. Maybe next spring. Your neighborhood is looking like a good starting spot.
