Default blind question

I was thinking about getting the wife out in the turkey woods for the first time this year. I think that the only way this will be possible is with the use of a blind. I was wondering what everyones thoughts were about using them for turkey hunting. I never have used them before and was wondering if this will affect the birds in any way. Thanks.

Decoys, definately. I think the wife can bring along her garden shear for some natural cover to add. I'll let you know how it goes.

Blinds work good and use decoys. I always use decoys any way it just helps with any hunt using blind or not. It would be the best way for her and shewill like it a lot better. Have that a book along.

I've taken the wife (a non-hunter) out several times and bring a pop-up blind for her. The Double Bull T-5 has plenty of room and she can read, nap, or watch. Turks are not threatened by a blind - great for sharing the experience!

I use a blind myself at times. Means you can stretch and snooze and move without fear of being seen. However, spend a lot of time outside one too. I think to introduce her to it would be great to use the blind! THen that is me! [8D]
