Default cuttin n gunnin...question

who uses this tactic? I have heard it work, and it seems like it could be productive....if you do use it....how do you go about doing it? Just calling, walking some and then calling again? i dont really understand the concept? Any help is appreciated, thanks

That is just a strategy to drum up some gobbles. A lot of people use that strategy. I myself like to stay put where Im at. Thats where my scouting pays off.

its actually called run n' gun...i use this tactic alot....not thru the first half of the season, but later...mid way thru the season...it does work well in the parts i hunt...i have a couple of friends that hate me when i say we're gonna go run n' gun today...in fact..Bill, a great friend and hunting partner of mine, swears at me when i look at him when we're in the turkey woods and hear a gobble from a mile away.....(see, he know's that look in my eyes)...cause he doesnt want to try to run with me and keep up...i love to close that distance between me and that bird...and yep...it has to be that bird i need to see...
