Decoy placement is not as important in turkey hunting as it is in waterfowl. Just place the decoy 10-20 yards somewhere in front of you. I like to face hen decoys away from me most of the time. When he comes in, just wait for him to put his head up, doesn't matter which way he is facing, and let him have it. If you put a few pellets in your decoy, who cares? Just get a good clean view of his head and pull the trigger.
