2 days left. My son has been hunting a couple of days and been hearing and seeing one in an area. I'll be out there before light in the morning. Sittin in the Matrix. Hopefully, I'll get to playa little string music w/ my UltraTec.

Well the 3 might turkey hunters marched out this morning proud as all heck, only to return with all 3 of our tails between our legs. Katie, skunked. She heard and saw a few but nothing. For Sam(my 10 yr old)and me, nothing no gobble no nothing![:'(]

Well fellers......I got one this evening, but we got one small problem........It was w/ my truck.!! That little bugger ran right in front of me and SMACK!!!! Oh, and it was a hen, too. Not cool at all.

Back at it one last time in the morning. They were awefull quiet today. Hope tomorrow's better.

The ol' lady smoked one out of the air today! It was fricking awsome to say the least! We were set upon this CRP field next to some willows. We had these 2 gobblers and a jake comning in real slow ( like an hour to go 200 yds) but they were coming. The Jake was out about 50 yds or so and the Toms about 75. I knew she was holding out for one of the Gobblers, when all of a sudden a Yote busted out next to us after them well up in the air they went. The Jake came right at us when all of a sudden BOOM. She completely smoked it out of the air! I asked her why she shot it, her answer " it pissed me off" and "we only have 1 day left". Im still laughing!:D:D:D it was a good shot tho!

Well I scored, nothing big, but I couldnt let the ol' lady show me up. 15.5 lbs,.5 spur, .75 spur, 6.5 beard.

All birds were killed in Northern Kentucky. I'm inthe first picture. The rest are of my girlfriend's dad and cousin. The last is my little brother on the youth hunt. All in all I was a part of 17 kills this season. It was a great year for me and my hunters.

Well my season is over and I am sorry to say I didn't get one this year .
I passed on 2 jakes early in the season thinking a tom would come in .

Oh well , wrong choice

Congrats to those of you that got them .

I hunted hard and legal .
2 times I had toms in range AFTER the 12 noon quiting time
I walked under 2 trees full of roosting turkeys one morning , could even make out a bearded bird .
So I set up where I hoped they would fly down .
Only to have another hunter wander into my setup , start yelling at me for asking him to leave ( he was tresspassing )
