Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Wisconsin allow red dot scopes?

I finally got drawn for my neighboring state of Wisconsin. Are red dot scopes allowed for turkey hunting?

Here in MN red dot scopes aren't allowed as a result of a poorly written lawmany years ago intended to outlaw taped recordings of turkeys. Unfortunately the wording ended up outlawing all electronics (including GPS, range finders, etc). It's a big stink here in MN and the law is supposed to be rewritten in 2007.

Red dot scopes are legal in WI. Laser sights are not. Anything that shines a light on the target is illegal.

So you can not use a GPS unit while turkey hunting in Minnesota?
