im from new york and going upstate to go spring turkey and was wondedring what to use i already have a box call but i was wondering what other call works best up there like crow or owl any suggestion

Well, not sure what area you mean when you say upstate. If you are talking about above Syrcause and I90, I can tell you the crow call works for locating birds. Imagine the coyote would too, but I have never seen anyone use one. I think if you have a box call and a slate/glass/aluminum you will be fine, if you can use a mouth call that works up there too......[8D]

Crow and or owl for locator calls, add a pot call, slate or glass or both to your arsenal....practice with mouth calls until proficient or add a push/pull button box call with barrel adapter for close up calling when needed if your not proficient with the mouth call.....

Manufacturers? There are so many, River Valley, Cody, Quaker Boy, Knight and Hale, Woods Wise, Primos, etc...etc... etc......test a bunch out.
