I use Andy Kaiser custom slate calls, they are amazing. They sound much better than mass produced call. I think I spelled his name right, Ijust looked at the back of one of my slate calls and his signature is hard to read. My wife buys me a call from him every year for our anniversary, so I'm not sure how to get in touch with him. I'll ask her when she gets home and post theweb site, if she will tell me.

Go to www.customcalls.com and look around. There are alot of us on there. If you go to the websites forum, you'll find a ton of websites to sift through, and most of us don't sell to the big stores because we can't mass produce them one at a time. Andy Kaiser has his own website, and from what I've heard he makes a good one. You can google it.

If you are looking for a slate or glass call, I can recommend Bud and
Betty calls. I have had one of his glass calls for a couple of years and
I wouldn't go to the woods without it. I believe they are made by
Russell Lynch and his wife and children. They have their own web site,
just type in Bud and Betty game calls.

I have a sweet call from Andy Kaiser. Glass on one side, slate on the other. Nice raspy glass to get em going, flip it over for the subtle clucks and purrrrrrrrrrs... kaiserkalls.com I think is his website.

Thanks for the replies everybody. I'll look at the Andy Kaiser calls. I've also been looking at the Kentucky Klucker calls, the tax return looks pretty good this year may have to get both.
Killmeatm,
it's funny that you your wife buys you calls for your anniversery. Mine does too. I hope she will continue the tradition.
Godd luck to everyone this spring.
