Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

There are a lot of different choke tubes out there that work great. The Undertaker, Jelly Head, Comp-N-Choke, Kicks, just to name a few. You really have to shoot them and put different loads through them to find the best for your gun but any of them should perform well.

i shot a fall gobbler a couple weeks ago with my nova. i have a tight wad choke made by primos and used a 3 1/2" federal mag shok #6. distance: 44 paces! longer than i like to shoot but it did the job and made me a believer.

This will be my first year turkey hunting with a gun. I've taken several with a bow, but have moved and there are fewer birdshere. I now have a Nova with the 28" barrel and the Briley X-full choke. I should be patterning several different loads next week. I'll post the results then.

Well, I finally patterned my Nova and Briley x-full choke combo. I tried about 10 different shells and all were turkey killers at 30 yards. The Remington Hevi Shot in the 3 1/2" with # 6 was good, but only matched the Federal 3" Flight Control # 6's. Winchester Supremes in the 3 1/2 # 5's came in 3rd best. The Federals are half the price of the Remington Hevi shot, so they win. 20 hits average on the brain and spine with both (4 shots).

ive got the same gun with the undertaker choke that Alex Reutleage gave me and I shoot 3 1/2 6's and last year I killed my turkey at 56yds and had 9 pellets in the head. on paper there were 21 in the kill zone at 50yds. so get the undertaker.
