Thanks for the replies. My eyesight is fine but several years ago I
just wanted to try a scope and it was the Simmons Pro Diamond and
just like "RedAllison" said you get an unblocked view of the turkey and
I have been hooked on using a scope ever since.

That is exactly why I went with a scope. My eyesight is fine but I found that the TruGlo sights I had on my shotgun blocked my intended target, especially down range. Being a bowhunting and wanting to pick a spot...I found I couldn't with beads.....so the scope solved that problem...I probably won't go away from the scope.

I'll be the first to admit it takes a little getting used to it but it makes a considerable difference in shot placement especially in the 30-40yd range.I'm shooting the Nikon Monarch 1.5-4.5 with the Turkey Pro Recticle and I dont have any complaints with itas of yet.
