Default How To Get Turkeys To Move ?

Is there a way to get turkeys to move to a certin spot.

I am not wanting to hunt over bait.

I was wanting to know if there is a certon food plot.
Or food that would cause turkeys to go to certon areas.

Thank You

Well if you want to plant something, plant chufa. Its supposed to be one of their favorite foods. Its like a p-nut, grows under the ground. Its kinda $$$ though.

Um, you can throw out corn or some other kind of seeds every now and then to keep them coming back to the area then quit ten days before season comes in, thats how the law is here in SC.

How big a spot are you talking about? What is the situation? If you want to attract turks in the spring, it helps to have nesting habitat adjacent to brood rearing habitat (fields with a water source nearby). If the hens like it, the gobs will be there to woo them. If you are limited in acreage, trying planting a ladino clover field.
