I use both and have success every year!I dont care what or who made the call what makes a good call imho is the now how of the one using it!I've seen some good turkey hunters take a crappy call and make sing pretty sweet and than I've seen others take a good call and talk ugly..To each his own...

I think Custom calls do sound a little better but you can get some very good production calls that sound great. The cool part is, is that a turkey doesn't know the difference if you are using a $80 call or an $8 call. This doesn't mean I dont use custom calls however.

I have awesome custom calls, and I have crappy ones. I have awesome mass produced calls, and I have crappy ones. I have no preference as long as I can make it sound good. Right now, my Primos Power Crystal is right up there with my favorites.
