I'm partial tothe callswe make, mainlyour glass over glass in either aZebrawood or Mesquite potwith a hickory striker. The slate is easier to work for reallysoft stuff, but I can condition my glassup to the point that it rivals slate for ease. And it comes in handy on a wet day with an acrylic striker. I think you've got to be good with a mouth call for those close encounters though. Just too much of a risk for getting busted.
