Mossy Oak's New Turkey Vests....WHERE??
Last Saturday i managed to catch the tailend of Turkey Call on TNN. I saw a commercial where Mossy Oak were coming out with two new turkey vests this year. I have viewed their website, nothing. I have looked through the new Redhead catalog, nothing. Every website i know of, still nothing. Has anybody seen these anywhere??

Greg, that's news to me? I haven't seen a pic or heard anything as yet either!! If they did come out with two new vests, they better beat out their "Elite" 20-pocket vest!! That's the best dang one I ever seen. I live mine, and I can't believe that they could improve on that one!!

Well i got mine and let me tell ya it aint in there either. IMHO they have improved upon the Elite which is the one i use too. I like to hunt in short sleeves because here in SC, your afternoon highs can reach in the 80's quick. They have a vest that looks just like the Elite except it has zip out long sleeves though i wish they would have made them velcro. This also keeps the vest from riding off of your shoulders when sitting or belly crawling...yall know what i'm talking about. Anyway, the owner at the bow shop i frequent let me look at his '02 Mossy Oak dealer catalog and they are in there. I just don't understand why i don't see them advertised anywhere else.
Talking about the Midwest catalog, not a whole lot of changes since last year. I was surprised to see that "Pete's" calls were not advertised. I hope i see this guy at the show in Charlotte. I did see a call that has my interest. I made a rule last year, however, to not buy another friction call unless i can try it in my hands first. Oh well, rules were made to be broken right?

ZZ, that's a great idea about not buying another call unless you personally tried them out first!! What sounds good to one person might just not sound good to your ears. Also, how the call works is another thing to ponder as well, some rip out sounds very easily where others you almost have to use a chisle to get a sound out of them!! I know, been there done that myself!!

the only thing i saw in midwest was the upgrade on the elite 20 pocket vest other than that nothing new i'll have to look at the turkey call mag.
Maytom should be there anytime I'm about an hour away from midwests offices so i'm fairly lucky in that respect
