90 yards is a pretty good poke for a deer slug, let alone a turkey shell[8D]

Back to the topic....I had an 835 with a factory full choke...it like #4's winchester surpeme 3 1/2's.....it did kick like mad, but patterned well to 45 yards. But like others have said....shoot as many shells and chokes as it takes to find a combo that pleases you.

90 yards!!!! LOL......SURE!!! ...all of us believe you....i have the same kind of gun....it got so old killing them at 90 yards that now i just sneak up behind them when they are in an open field and strangle them with my bare hands!!

with that logic.....you could kill a turkey with a Red Ryder....it would have about the same energy left at "90 yards"

My wife has that same gun and she was shooting great this year with Winchester supreme 3.5inch #5's. However, that doesn't mean your gun will shoot those shells the same. I'd try some of those and some Federals in different shot sizes and see what you shoot best with. That is the only true way to determine what you are going to shoot best with.... As faras 90 yards is a sure shot... I would haveto see that myself to believe it.

Jep, are you saying that finding other ammo might get more distance
than 450yds?

A sure sign that you should ignore someone is when they say they kill turkeys at 90 yards with a shotgun.
