Undertaker does make a tube that is suitable for hevi-shot. You could shoot any turkey load through it. Maybe that's the one they sold you.

There should be a website address or phone number on the choke. Call the manufacturer.

You can return the choke, but you're stuck with the ammo. But if you're gonna complain about paying $11 for Hevishot, then you're nuts [8D]

I have an Undertaker choke designed for Hevi-shot. It is called the Undertaker H.S. The H.S. is on both the choke and the package. It states right on the packaging that it is "for use with Hevi-shot loads, Bismuth & Tungsten Matrix".

On the back of my packaging it lists the Hevi-Shot inside diameters for the different shotguns. All but one are listed at .675 with the exception of .705 to be used in a Mossberg 835.

Hope this helps.

The tube you bought is not safe for hevishot. As stated above, there is a model called Undertaker HS, and that is designed specifically for use with hevishot.

that makes me mad.......not really complaining.....i got a steal........the ammo and choke are both worth double......i know i can return the choke.....but know im stuck with the ammo......im sure the undertaker will pattern better then my factory choke i shot now.......11 bucks i should keep it....but why keep it.....hmm maybe ill email the company saying they false advertised.....hevi shot IS a VERY popular turkey load....right on the box it says HANDLES ALL TURKEY LOADS and thats why i bought it......and see if they will swap me an HS one for a few more bucks or something........i did look at their website after tyinging my first post.......and seen that........i have a 21 inch barrel on my 870........if i get that SAFE tube.........what size hevishot will probably perform best with the understaker??? i figured tight restriction #6 will probably my best bet......they have a few boxes left.......and a few boxes of flight control and other normal turkey loads all less then 5 bucks......and hevishots running at 11 for 4 5 and 6 shot........what do you guys think?? small shot tight restriction like .665 right???? think thats how it goes.......

oh ya......the hevishot box says NOTHING about being unsafe for some choke tubes......only place ive read it was online pretty much.........what happens when you fire hevi through a normal tube?? just wondering......thanx guys....anyone shoot a 870 with an undertaker? or an undertaker period? hows it perform for you??? thanx

Mauser, If you dont want the tube anymore, email me and I'll buy it from you for what you paid plus whatever it takes to ship it. Just PM me or email me if you would be interested. The only way to tell which shot will be the best with your gun is to shoot them both. This is what can happen if you shoot hevishot through a non approved choke.
