This seem to be a tough year for many New York spring turkey hunters as seen in many of the posts, but i was just reading the News from the Roost editorial put out by the NWTF and see that you New Yorkers have surpassed the 1 million dollar mark in moneys spent on continued wild turkey management in your state. No doubt with dedication and support like that you New Yorkers will continue to enjoy pursuing ole longbeard for years to come!!

Every single year I've hunted turkeys has been tough for me. I just can't seem to get a break. I've had some close calls and good oppurtunities but I just cannot seem to get all the cards to stack up. Glad to see that my state has stepped up with the $$$ for turkey management. Hopefully I'll be able to end my bad luck streak real soon.
