i am thinking of using trail cameras for security cameras at a construction site. i would am planning on infrared to not call attention to them at night. quick trigger would be required to catch people walking in. whats your recommendations?

The HCO Scoutguards.
They are the size of a beer can.
I love mine. It's 4yrs old and still have great battery life.
Here is a link over at chasingame about how to disguise them.

If you can afford them, the Reconyx RM 45 would be the perfect choice. They are no longer manufactured so you can pick them up pretty cheap.

Personaly I would get at least one of the trail camera's that send out the picture to a Web Site and or your Cell phone too.The Smartscouter is one and the Moultrie brand also has a few trail camera's that can do the same thing, each have a monthly fee so it will cost more to use them.

The new Scoutguards had the ability to put a SIM chip in the cam and it will also send to an account.
Just add another card to your cell account and put it into the cam and set up the account info and it does the rest. I doubt it would do too well in non 3G (Edge) areas because of files sizes of pics/videos.
