Questions for Bushnell trophy cam owners
I use my tv to view my pics usually and today i noticed as I viewed them some extreme heat coming off one of the batteries (2nd from bottom) This is the second time this has happened. First time thought just maybe a bad battery but now im not so sure, same battery slot both times anybody else experience anything like this and what do you think is causing? after battery was removed it stayed really hot for about 10 min I put a new battery in and seemed ok from then on

matt068: I've never had that problem. If this battery has lots of charge left or a rechargeable, just mark it with tape or a pen and reinsert it in a different slot but stay in one of the lower four because that was the section it was originally removed from to retest. Those cameras are wired: bottom four slots in series: top four slots in series. Now each set of four are wired in parallel. This gives a reading of 6 volt for upper set and then 6 volt for the lower set. If this same battery gets hot, then you know the battery is faulty. If the original slot gets hot with a different battery, then the camera has a fault in the lower section. The top section will still be okay.
