I have been hunting this deer for two years. The color photo is last year. The black and white photo is this year. The dead photos are today. Grosses about 170.

Here's the story on the neck. He was injured in a fight. The tine went in in front of his ear and penetrated all the way to the nerves and tendons immediately under the ear. It abscessed into a tennis ball sized wad of pus, etc. When the taxidermist cut the rack off, there was even pus in the brain cavity. He was sporting one mammoth headache but still chasing does. It looks like I did him a favor. He grossed at 171 2/8.
