Thank you. The homebrews take pics that are pretty hard to beat, especially for the price. These are pics of the trailcam used in that series. It's a Sony S600 and uses a Yeti control board. Depending on the camera, case, and board,the price for a homebrew do it yourself can range from under $100 to $400 approx.
This particular trailcam was $160.00 total, and I had it totally built for me, as the S600 camera hack can be challenging for poor eyes and fat fingers like mine.


Here is a link to a homebrew tutorial that is several pages long. Many pics and lots of questions and answers. The camera used in the thread is a Sony S40, but the case with the method of security and control board are identical to mine.
