Leaf River's last stand!!

Ouch...that blows. The problem is not just the water, but the sediment that likely worked its way into everything. Hope it works, but that would require a mighty tight seal. How did you get the pics? (meaning did you take the card out?) I am suprised the card wasnt toast.

The card was fine, after speaking to tech at LR he said if the boards are not mudded up, they could probably fix it. I checked an the boards appear to be fine as far as appearance. He said it may have just got the switch part at the bottom of the camera. It does have a fine coating of dirt on the inside, but not much. I going to send it off about Monday or Tuesday he said he would be glad to work with it. He said he will call me an let me know how much it could costbefore he starts repairingon it. I will keep this updated to what happens, most likely about a 7-10 day turn around.

I am shipping the camera out tomorrow. I spoke to LR one of their representives told me that there will beno charge till I decide if I want the repairs done. I am curious to what damage there is after the camera was flooded with water.
