Might still work. If you are a little handy... Take it apart. let it dry, you might want to put a night light next to the parts to help them dry out, puts out a little heat but no enough to ruin it. I have done this with cell phones and pagers that have gone in for a drink.

I know this sounds crazy but if it is still wet submerge it in isopropyl alcohol. I had a laptop go swimming and a geek friend of mine told me to do it. The monitor was still screwed but I could retrieve my data. Thank god.

ive seen pics like that before where the guy left it next to a creek and it took pics of the water coming up. he said he let it air out for a while and it worked just fine after that. but i think it was a 35mm and not a digital.

They dont take very good underwater pics do they. I had a 35mm Stealth cam that I lost in a flood too. I tried letting it sit, and then took it all apart, and dried everything off real good, but it never did work after that.

I actually had a "DeerCam" back in the day and it got flooded out, but after letting it dry out in the sun it still worked fine!

don't try to turn it on until you know its dry. I have heard you can pack wet electronics in rice or something and the rice takes in the moisture and can dry stuff out really well. Maybe do a search on it.
Did water run out when you opened it?

That sucks dude!!!
