Default cuddeback 06 and 07's

Thinking about going with a cuddeback but I am worried after hearing all the horror stories with the 06's and espicially the no flash. can you tell me a little about your 06 or 07 cudde and the problems with them and the customer support from non typical and how happy are you with your new 07. Thanks I have been thinking about a 07 cudde

I just bought a 07 Expert and like it so far. It's only been in the field a week, but worked great with all the tests I did with it here at the house. The flash seemed good and it was picking me up at over 40 ft in 90 degree heat in the middle of the day. Reaction time was great as well. I've heard of many problems with the06 models, but the 07 are supposed to be better.I plan on checking it in a couple weeks. Hopefully I'll be pleased.

I have an Expert. Great pic quality & good battery life. The problem is the fact that they can leak (allow water into the inside - doesn't go good with electronics). This is bad for a $400 camera.

I have an 06 IR Cuddie. I don't like the menu and controls very much. Battery life is not that great compared to my 05 Leaf River. The trigger speed and pic quality are both good. I'm not convinced that the IR is the way to go. I have many big buck pics on my flash Leaf River and about the same on the IR. My next camera will be a regular flash.

Trying to decide on a Cuddie, Leaf River or another brand. I heard that the Leaf River IR from 06 is not that great. I've been very pleased with my regular flash model.

FYI, I saw how to correct the leakproblem on chasingthegame.com. Still sucks though!

Have two experts and one excite from last year and all of them are excellent! I did however buy the bear safe box for them. No problems or quirks thus far...trigger speed is awesome and is as good as my homebrews too

I have an '06 No Flash that I just sent in for case leakage and while they have it they are going to upgrade it to the '07 software. I'll report when I get it back. I just bought a bear safe for it to try and help with the case leaking problems.
