Default got me a moutrie game spy d40

well i finally got one at sportsmanswarehouse and just got it setup today...but i had a few questions for you owners.......what are the smallest things that it can pick up ......and on the external power...how do you use that do you plug in a solar panel or do i need more batteries or what?....do any of yall have any piks.....of how high they are or just different setups?and how close do you put it to your target....like me i put it over a bait site about 6 yds away./...i saw a rabbit by the bait site and i dont think the camera took a pikture was it because the rabbit was too far..about 10 yds or just too small...heres a pik of it

Averege hanging height of cameras should 3-4ft that camera also has a laser aim you can use that to tell the angle of your camera you should be able to detect deer size animals up to around 35 ft. Smaller critters like rabbits and such will need to be pretty much right in front of the cam like a few ft or closer, these cams are made purposely to try avoid smaller critters like rabbits, skunk, coons, ect. I have gooten birds before right in front of the camera. Your camera should have a ir aim mode too on that you can walk in front and around and the camera light will blink when it detects you and that will help on placement of the camera. Putting your cam on 2 or 3 pics at a time will help capture more game too.

I agree about putting it on 3 round burst mode. You'll get alot more pics that way!
