Once I got the pictures off the card, I realized I probably had it aimed a bit high. It's ok for closeup shots like this one.....will need to point it down a bit when I return to check the pics next time.

I hope so, we have 3 mineral blocks setup across the property in hopes of giving them as much nutrition as possible to promote their overall health and antler growth.

Here is a photo from the bushnell of the same deer taken barely a minute apart. Also attached is another photo from the bushnell catching deer further away.

My dad owns the farm where these pix were taken and I've been hunting it for about 26 years. Based on past experience with the deer from the farm, I'd say this guy will be 4 years old this spring. For the most part 1.5 year olds from the farm have very spindly 4-6 point racks. I did take a 1.5 year old once that had a beautifully shaped, but very small 8 point rack.
At 2.5 years old, they are generally 7-8 pointers with a little better mass, but still generally undeveloped and asymmetrical. This guy is pretty typical of a 3.5 year old from Dad's farm.
Another buddy of mine took a really nice 193 lb 10 pointer (still waiting on score, but estimates ranged 150-160) this past season, and I'm 90% certain he was a 4 year-old, but could possibly have been 5. The good news for next season is that the 10 pointer's twin has been seen (post season) both by my mom and PW himself - we just haven't managed to get him in pictures yet.
