Hawken testing day
Well, I found that the bulk .020" patching I bought was very stiff compared to my precut patches. They still shot very well at 50 yards however. They just felt like a shirt sprayed down with starch lol.
I even got to try out some experimental lube and so far, I like it, but not sure how accurate it is just yet. I need better target next time as the 4 shots I took at 100 yards were not that great on my eyes.
Alright lets start at the BOTTOM.
50 yards
Those are 3 shots with .020" precut patches and a polishing lube as I am still working the barrel back into shape.

Next and right at 6 o clock on the bulls eye are 2 shots with that harder material that I cut at the muzzle.
NEXT we have one drilling the bulls eye and one a little higher and to the right. That was 2 shots at 100 yards with the experimental stuff and again, the stuff .020" patch material cut at the muzzle.
No swabbing between shots was needed.
To the left side, is the same lube but with pre cut patches at 100 yards. 2 shots
Bulls eye size is 3" diameter.
Notice the consistency where the balls are grouping with the precut and cut at the muzzle patches? One shoots down the center and the other shoots to the left.
