Is my guns and loads acceptable topics here?

BPS in this case I don't think debate is a nice word for argument. We are simply trying to find a happy medium for the rules. And so far the only disagreement I have with the rules is the allowed projectiles.
I think everything else is fine. Not to rub you the wrong way but I still think a poll would be a good idea or multiple polls on individual items (bullets, powders, etc.) and not leaving the rules up to only a couple individuals.
After all wasn't this forum developed to get away from the inline crowd? If someone wants to talk solely traditional there are other sites one can go. We can't be stubborn here and should be more open minded.

Fellers look I think if we hold true to traditional ideologies here we can have a great forum. That being said the limitations on what we discuss should be based on whether the bullets and guns are similar to the ones used pre- cartridge period (paper or metallic). So we could eliminate jacket bullets and sabots. Inline ignition could be discussed but on if it pertains to the pre-cartridge period. Wouldn't this really settle the traditional debate for muzzleloaders? So traditional would be defined pre-cartridge era. Problem solved... Or at least in my mind. Have fun and enjoy.

well as I said. If we allow all that modern stuff, I wont even bother with this forum lol. I'll stick to regular black powder forum category.
That or we make is easy and do STRICTLY patched round ball topics only

I thought you were a flintlock shooter? I would think you'd want a real traditional forum?
I don't really care. I have lots of traditional forums to post on. I just feel if you're going to call it traditional make it traditional. Otherwise, just call it a sidelock forum, and call the other one an inline forum.
Simple.
