Default first 3D shoot

went to my first 3D shoot today with my 45# Browning Cobra II recurve and my Gold Tip carbon arrows and shot a 150 out of 330 and made some amazing shots. i had one 11 on a Elk target. Also while messin around because we were the last group we each to a shot at another elk target from around 60 yds. one other guy shot it in the rear leg and another shot about 20 yards infront of him while me being the youngest of the actual shooters went up and shot it right in the lung area and got an 8 which didn't count but it was the highpoint of the day cause i had to do the joking of how to take the shot to the next guy behind me but he still missed.
it was fun because we all had recurves and the types of shots we had and some of the harder shots we made up to have a little fun like shootin between trees and over brush
Also the carbon arrows were awsome i put one arrow right into a small oak tree and it didn't bend or damage it at all i was very surprised at how durable they
hope to go in a week or to to another shoot

Getting out and shooting is great fun by itself. When you spend the day with other traditional shooters, it's a hoot! There's just no way to be all serious and stuff when you've got a group of traditionals running around in the woods.
