I can't make it this weekend, but I plan to be there for the state shoot and possibly for the Howard Hill shoot. If you have never been there before, take plenty of arrows just in case you are having an off day. I've been through the course with one arrow, but it's real easy to go through several.

Great! A friend that went said attendance was down, but it was still a good shoot. I hate I had to miss it! Are you going to Twin Oaks this coming weekend? How about the ASTB state shoot? I plan on being at both of those--leaving for Twin Oaks Wednesday afternoon.

PC, if at all possible you want to come to this shoot. I've been to several different ones in the South, and this one is the absolute best. Not to take away from anyone else--there are some really good shoots at other places, but this one takes the best parts from all of them and puts it in one place.
I use to go to the Lofton, but I've only been a couple of times since the big split. It just wasn't the same.
Anyhow, if you are ever up around Fulton, give me a holler. Out local club shoots on the first Sunday of every month, up until Sep. I'll be at that one if I'm not travelling. There is also a great one at Herb Parson's Lake--Lost Tribe Traditional Archers puts it on. It's in Collierville, TN, just outside of Memphis. Their shoot schedule is listed on www.losttribetn.org.
