Kinda hard to picture just what's going on here. I've seen a couple of guys that clipped their nose with the string, but not the feather. The only thing I can think of is to rotate your nocks so the feather misses your nose. Might be more wear and tear on your feather, but thats better than wear and tear on your face.

are they resting on your nose at full draw? 1.5"es sounds like its plenty far forward but heck if ya have to I'd move them even a tad bit more forward or get rid of the high backs. Another idear would be to turn your head more towards your target.

I am leary of turning my nocks for clearance reasons. You can just as easily get bad arrow flight readings due to feathers themselves as you can to vanes. It's not as bad however it's easily enough to booger up broadhead flight. Add in other factors (ie bad release, torque, wrong spines etc), and it stands to reason people have a tendancy to live with poor arrow flight.

goldenarm, something doesn't sound right. Where are you anchoring? What is your head position like (are you facing the target or are you turning your head to look down the shaft better? are you bringing your chin down?) What is your draw and bow length? What stance are you using? Are you shooting three fingers under or split?

You must be anchoring way back on your face or you're 'schnozzly' well endowed. Maybe you should do like Lilhunter suggests and switch from sheilds to banana cuts, slope the back end of the feathers away from your nose.

Does anyone know where you can get banana cut feathers anymore? Without cutting them yourself I mean. Here are the one's that I use now, but I really don't consider them to be tru banana cuts.
