Maybe it is that new recurve that messed up your count.
I shot the first target of the Feb match today. I gotta "2." Better watch out guys, Floxter made me shoot 30 yards and it has improved my 15 yarders.

When you get your targets, there will be a cover letter along with it that will explain all of the rules. The first rule I'll post here: "Don't criticize the authors sense of humor!"

I really try to stay serious on the board, so I don't often let my sense of humor come into play. But, as I was typing the cover letter today, a few one liners slipped out.

I enjoy these postal shoots. They were fun last year and this year has started in the same vein. Remember the purpose of these matches:

1. Focus
2. Fun
3. Focus
4. Fellowship
5. Focus
6. Fierce Competition
7. Focus

The real FOCUS should be on items 1 through 5 and 7. Number 6, it will take care of itself. Did I remember to say FOCUS?

Dang Bill, this isn't going to be a real hard one is it? I went to the range today and couldn't hit my butt with both hands.

Mike,

Ya set the ball on a tee just waiting for someone to hit a homerun. Like I said above, I'm trying to control my sense of humor on this board, so I'll give you a break and not type what I've been thinking and laughing about since I read your post.

I just finished licking 15 envelopes and I'm heading to the Post Office to mail them. If you don't receive one by Wednesday or Thursday and are expecting one, please send me another e-mail with your address and I'll get one in the mail to you.

Man I want to play too
I still have not ordered any arrows for my recurve so I guess I will have to before March first. Dont anyone laugh at me though since I really am just going to be learning to shoot without any wheels or sights.

Shotgun Red,

Ignore my e-mail response I sent to you. I check e-mail before I come to the board. I sometimes send responses that had I come here first I would already know the answer. Your target will go in the mail tomorrow.

By the way, if you hit the garage, just put an X on the target at the point closest to where the arrow flew by!

One Eye,

Your target will go in the mail tomorrow, too. As I said in my response back to you, its all about having fun! Learn while having fun, hunt while having fun, become experienced while having fun, and hunt some more while having fun!

What kind of recurve do you have?

Bill, I have a curve that is up in the air as to the maker. Its only 25#@28 so at my 29" its still really light but its worth using until I can get somthing a bit more heavy. There is a chance that my grandma may have my Papa's old bow still. Im going to ask her about it next time I see her.
