Really. Every plane I;ve been on would take rod cases in the 5 foot range, not to mention canoes. I'm building a couple of 3 piece longbows, so I haven't anything against them, but I've never "had" to use one. Heck rifles are about the length of 2 piece longbows...

Are we talking carry on luggage? I can't believe they will let you take bows in the cabin. Heck we used to be able to take guns, but that was quite a while back.
