For those of you that use a tab. What one do you use and why. Right now I am using a super archery mitt but would like to try something different. A glove is not an option for me.I broke the knuckle on my communicating finger three times and a tab spreads the stress across all three fingers better.Lets hear them opinions

I make my tabs, I shoot three under so they are easy to make. I use cordovan leather then a piece of plastic and a thick piece of bison hide.

You got the same knuckle broke THREE times?? Maybe you'd better quit 'communicating' like that...[8D]

Deadeye's got it. But if you just don't have time or 'want to' to whittle a hunk of leather...I like the old red-n-black Black Widow tab, especially for shooting 3-under.

3-under spreads the stress across all three fingers exceptionally well. Anyone that's got painful finger problems, I recommend giving it a serious try.

I just use the large PSE/King calfhair tabs.

I use the Super Tab from Alaska Bowhunting Supply. Simple, sweet release. Works great for longbows. Don't know if it would work for one of those BW's

Troy a rumor I heard was that Chad was experimenting with various fruit skins as a tab. HAven't heard the reports yet though????

I have tried several different tabs. My 2 favorites are the Wilson Tab (Black Widow uses these) and the cheap ones sold at Wal-Mart. I like waiting for the after hunting sales at WM and buy the cheap tabs for $1.00 each.......Tom

I like the Bateman cordovan tab the best. Just don't ever drop one out of your tree w/lots of leaves around....don't ask why I say that. Hehehe...Grrr![:@]

i like saunders pak-tab. ive had friends tease me about it being plastic but that plastic gives me a smooth release and isnt affected by the rain so it wont take a set like my leather tabs have .............groundhawg
