Default Message for KIP

KIP, I told you I would keep you posted on my hunting season. After reading your post I suddenly remembered why I get out there and have for so many years. I was refreshed and hunted with some new enthusiasm. On the afternoon of the 27th I hunted a new stand that had some good, fresh buck sign. Ten minutes after setting up I had a nice 6pt. come in and work the scrape in fron of me. Since I live in a Pennsylvania county requiring 4pts. on one antler minimum I watched him work the scrape and leave. An hour later I hit my True Talker once and I hear a deer running my way. A very good 8pt. came straight in and I took him at 10 yds. through the right shoulder and out the throat. He went 30 yds. and dropped! Two days later I was in the same stand and had just finished a series of fawn bleats when a huge, dry doe came in at 12 yds. and I made nearly the exact same hit on her and she went 40 yds. and dropped. The old longbow and cedars did it' s job once again. Thanks for the push in the right direction.

Congrats Longbowman, glad I was able to help out, somehow. I am still trudging away, trying to fill another tag, but havent released an arrow yet. I had a spike at 5 feet, and 4 does at 8 feet last weekend, but they were too close, I couldnt get a draw on them.[] Glad to see your enjoyment is picking up.

How about some pics of that big daddy 8pt? Got any you can post? Or, if you cant post them, send them to my email, and I' ll host/post them for ya.
