LBR, I guess I should' ve pointed out that I only take head shots on bunnies and squirrels. My bad. [:' (] If I was shooting the body, I' d want something more like the dubbed off broadheads.

Chad, I' ve been a dedicated small game bowhunter since I wandering grampa' s farm, shooting rabbits out of the garden with my elm selfbow and willow arrows, at the ripe old age of six. That gives me 45 years of bunny thumping. So, I' ve learned The Trick. Shoot for the eye. Aim small, miss small.

And you' ll note that I don' t claim to hit every one I shoot at.

Man Arthur,

You need to get up here for snow ghosts. They are a riot to hunt. I gave it up as I couldnt find a good way of cooking them to make them somewhat edible table fare. Guess I am spoiled on sheep meat

Lilhunter, what I wouldn' t give to be able to get up there to your neck of the woods. Longbow in one hand and a flyrod in the other.[8D]

I have taken to using " adder" points behind a field point with my aluminum arrows. These things cut like broadheads on small game flesh. Made mush out of a bunny head a while back.
