Well, I gave one of my older brothers a longbow about 8 years ago.....he told me he was sending me something and it turned out to be that same bow.
He doesn't shoot any more so he thaught I might as well put it to use. It was here when I got home tonight, went out and shot a few arrows and I said to myself "I forgot how good this bow shoots". It is a Lynn Harrelson longbow, technically it's a hybrid . Haven't cared for most hybrids I've shot but this bow really shoots good. It is 46 @ 28 inches, 62 inches nock to nock.
It is a real quiet bow too, which means a lot to me...and it's stable. Red Elm [edge cut] and I think the riser is cocabola.
I'm thankfull to have it. Another fine gentleman sent me some wood shafts and I'm going to try them out on it ...in the daylight in the morning.
This bow feels great and sounds quiet with the D-97 string.....oh Lynn did a good job on this bow. Well, I've owned several of his bows and I've never shot a bad one that he made.
