Well I got my groups down to 3 inches or better. I have a tennis ball hanging on my target. I can hit on a regurlar basis. I am looking forward to hunting this year. I am hunting Big Thicket National Park. Hopefully will get the chance to take some animals. If not at least it will be fun hiking deep into the woods and trying. Just being out there with my bow makes it worth the time and money.

Good luck! I'm sick with a cold--can't quit hacking and snotting long enough to sit in a blind quietly. Still getting pics of does with fawns on my game cameral anyway....hopefully those spots will be fading soon and I can at least get some freezer meat without feeling guilty!

Well get better. The land owner has video of him feeding the deer over the fence. He has 75 acres. His house is surrounded by a 6 foot fence but the rest is open. He took a nice 8 point opening weekend and it was a smaller deer than what he has been seeing. Never hunted where the deer come out in herds like on the videos. Maybe I will get the chance this weekend.

Well moon was full. Saw a nice buck satirday. Unfortunately could not get a clear shot. An 8 point was shot but not by me and we could not find it. We looked for 4 hours but he stoped bleeding in the thicket.
