Default halo .030 serving

Anyone here use Halo serving for finger shooting? I am thinking of ordering a .030 spool. They say its smoother for finger shooting over #62

Don't order it--I have a bunch, and I seldom use it. I ordered a couple of pounds of the stuff some time ago for a bowyer customer who isn't a customer anymore (don't ask me why--I got no warning or explanation).

Anyhow, I can send you some, no charge--send me your mailing addy (you too Burnie).

I can't tell the difference in my release vs. 62XS. Halo is slick, but that can be a detriment--it's more likely to slip. Big serving on a small string is even more apt to slip.

I've used it before and thought it was ok. It has a very similar feel to Brownell Crown which I've used more of. These days, I use mostly Brownell Diamondback.

The Bow I had when I went to your place had Halo serving.
I put halo serving on all my bows.

Chad.

I only have the .030 in black.

Mark, I didn't forget to send it--my wife was in the hospital nearly all last week, and it kinda screwed up my schedule here. She's fine, but gave us a scare. I'll try to get that spool in the mail tomorrow.
