Well, not quite bows yet. In about 8 months, ill have some new bows. These are some hackberry log I split, debarked, and sealed so in 8 months Ill start carving out some self bows.

I wont back these at all. They will all be selfbows. If I do back them, it will be with rawhide, linen, silk, and a few with snake skins. AS for mesquite, yea, I had to wade through about a million to find the hackberrys. Mesquite is one wood that is very plentiful around me. YOu can cut alll you want.
