Blazers on Trad Arrows?
#1
Anybody use Blazers on their trad arrows?
I shoot aluminium's from my recurve fletched in 4" Duravanes, and the fletchings are starting to get kind of rough. I have Blazers for fletching my compound arrows and was wondering how they would go from a recurve?

If one shoots off the shelf, they have to shoot feathers. If you don't, your always going to have clearance issues unless you use extremely underspined arrows. And blazers are even higher and stiffer, so I can't imagine a worst combo for trad archery.

Should have mentioned I shoot off a rest.
I might fletch up a few of my worst ones and give it a try anyway.

As Mark mentioned, even with way under spinned arrows, you will have issues with just about any vane. Feathers for trad is all Ill use.

I think they are now making blazer style feather fletching. I think it would be good if your arrow is spined and tuned really well. Especially if you are shooting an arrow that has a heavy front of center balance. I plan to experiment when I set up some new arrows for a new set of limbs I am waiting on.
