I feel for you BHF. I had my first chance at a Doe this year with my Great Plains recurve and I lost my focus and looked at the arrow and it went over the back of the Deer[:@] I been shooting all week going over my focus and follow thru in my mind. I been shooting real good but it's another game at live deer as you well know. Man, I have the utmost respect for the great Trad Hunters that take deer with stick and string. I could have shot at 10 plus deer with my compound this year. Its a different game and I love it! I have a good feel for you and I that this will be the year and we will score with our first

I can relate to your heart pounding hunt because I did the same thing many years ago. After 30 years of practice I can finally control my shakes to a minimum but the thrill is still always there. Have fun!
